1. Who runs Bar Raiser AI

Bar Raiser AI ("we", "us", the "Service") is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in Sri Lanka. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Bar Raiser AI helps you prepare for behavioral interviews. It lets you organize STAR-format stories and tag them against Amazon's Leadership Principles ("Star Vault"), run live AI voice mock interviews with "The Bar Raiser", and receive scorecards summarizing your performance ("Debrief").

3. Accounts

You need an account, authenticated through our provider (Supabase), to use most of the Service. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and may only maintain one account per person.

4. Plans & billing

The Free plan includes unlimited Star Vault stories, the coverage matrix and the readiness score, with no card required. It does not include any AI features: LP tagging, story scoring, live mock interviews with The Bar Raiser, and Debrief scorecards all require a paid plan.

The Pro plan is a recurring monthly subscription priced as shown on our Pricing page. It unlocks every AI feature and includes 10 AI minutes renewed every billing cycle. You may also purchase one-time 100-minute top-up packs while your subscription is active.

AI minutes are the shared unit of usage across every AI feature, not just voice. Live mock interviews consume them in proportion to session length, and the other AI features (LP tagging, story scoring, Debrief scorecards) consume a small fraction of a minute per call based on their actual processing cost. Unused minutes do not carry over between billing cycles.

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy is the seller of the Pro subscription and top-up packs, handles all payment processing, and collects/remits sales tax and VAT where applicable. Your billing relationship for payment purposes is with Lemon Squeezy; your relationship for using the Service is with us.

If a renewal payment fails, we keep your Pro access active for a 4-day grace period so you can update your payment method before your account is downgraded to Free.

5. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancelling stops future renewals: you keep Pro access and any remaining AI minutes until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.

Subscription charges and top-up pack purchases are non-refundable once billed. AI minutes are a consumable digital good delivered immediately on payment, and unused monthly minutes don't roll over and aren't refunded when a billing period ends or a subscription is cancelled. If you believe you were charged in error, contact connect@skyhigh.asia and we'll look into it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or provide bulk/automated access to your AI minutes or account
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass usage limits on the Service
• Use the Service to generate or store unlawful, abusive, or infringing content

7. AI-generated content

Mock interview responses, Debrief scorecards, and Leadership Principle assessments are generated by third-party AI models (including Google Gemini for language understanding and scoring, and Deepgram/Amazon Polly for speech). This feedback is a practice aid and reflects an AI's assessment, and it is not professional interview coaching and does not guarantee any interview outcome.

8. Your content & our IP

You own the STAR stories and other content you create in Star Vault. You grant us a license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service (e.g. to run mock interviews and generate scorecards). The Bar Raiser AI name, branding, and underlying software belong to us and may not be copied or reused without permission.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, including abuse of AI minutes or attempts to circumvent billing. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

10. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated feedback in an actual job interview. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
